Please be advised that I recently bought a TNF jacket from this ebay seller, which was clearly a fake. I have taken it to a reputable supplier who agrees it is not a TNF product and would not even be waterproof.
The seller is based in glasgow and sells on ebay.ie and has US / Canadian buyers. Feedback is mostly positive.
I have sent the following message to the seller today, and will advise the response:
Dear Miss Cheung,
RE: The North Face Jacket Counterfeit
Further to my previous email, I have shown the jacket you sent me to a reputable The North Face supplier. They have confirmed, as I suspected from the moment I opened the packaging, that the jacket is not a genuine The North Face product as stated in the listing, but a counterfeit. I trust this is the result of some sort of mistake, and would like to offer you the opportunity to refund the full amount paid (including P+P) to my paypal account TODAY, with an additional £4 P+P if you would like the jacket returned. Please be aware that if you do not refund me immeditately, in full, I will approach paypal and ebay with full details of this matter, and the Glasgow office for Trading Standards. I will also have no choice but to post negative feedback detailing this incident and contact other customers who have bought similar items from you. I await your timely response. Regards, [me]
